Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 310S Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues across various types of machinery and vehicles. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Job Type: Part-time to Full-time
Schedule: 25 to 40 hours per week
Pay: $19.00–$25.00 per hour, with the potential for a pay increase based on proven skill set

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on all types of vehicles, including passenger cars, light trucks, and commercial vehicles.
  • Conduct a variety of service jobs such as brakes, exhaust, transmission, and engine repairs, plus routine maintenance and safety inspections.
  • Order and install necessary parts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
  • Deliver excellent customer service through clear communication, written work summaries, and honest feedback about vehicle condition and repair costs.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, supporting a positive, safety-first culture.
Qualifications
  • For apprentices: Current enrollment in an Ontario apprenticeship program (310S) or relevant automotive training.
  • Ideally 1-4 years’ hands-on experience (preferred, but not required).
  • Secondary school diploma (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to use shop management software is an asset.
