Job description

amma pregnancy tracker is more than an app — it’s one of the world’s largest communities for moms-to-be and their families.

We want our app to sound like a trusted friend to every woman who uses it.

That’s why we’re looking for a Brazilian UX Writer who knows how to talk to women planning pregnancy, moms-to-be, and new mothers — each with their own emotions and needs.

You’ll shape the way we speak in push notifications, onboarding flows, UI texts, emails, and social posts. Clear, friendly, and engaging language that makes every screen and every message feel personal.

To do this well, you need to know the local Brazilian audience inside out — their preferences, tone, slang, and what works in digital products here. Knowledge of UX writing trends in Brazil, especially in health tech and family tech, will be your superpower.

responsibilities

This role will keep you busy with:

  • Writing push notifications that surprise, encourage, and nudge users to explore more.
  • Shaping onboarding flows and in-app pages that help women feel confident from their very first session.
  • Refining UI texts to be clear, supportive, and culturally appropriate.
  • Creating emails and social posts that extend the app’s voice beyond the product.
  • Constantly testing, learning, and improving texts to maximize engagement and retention.
requirements

  • Knowledge of key product terminology: onboarding, retention, engagement flows, nudges.
  • Experience writing for mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with health tech or family tech projects is a strong plus.
  • Native Portuguese (Brazil).
  • Upper-intermediate English (to collaborate with the team and share best practices).

  • Flexibility and openness to new technologies, ideas, and approaches
