We are currently seeking a dynamic and inquisitive Senior Software Engineer with strong technical skills and the ability to navigate organizational dynamics, with adaptability and foundational knowledge in security applications.
Our client’s platform runs on the Microsoft Azure cloud and follows a microservices architecture. They run a mix of open source, vendor-licensed, and internally developed tools to perform functions such as provisioning, software deployment, logging, and monitoring.
You’ll learn these tools and have opportunities to improve them. The team is collaborative; they work closely with the development teams and support to deliver the best results for the organization. The goal is to balance the best solution with the need to get things done for each engineering challenge we face.
- Proficiency in .NET Core
- Proficiency in Cloud (ideally Azure, but AWS or GCP acceptable)
- Strong background in Microservices architecture
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, ARM templates, Terraform, or Pulumi
- Experience with Event Hubs, Service Bus, or similar
- Knowledge of Container Apps, Function Apps, App Services
- Experience with Storage Accounts, CDN, Subscriptions, Resource Groups
- Understanding of App Insights, Log Analytics
- Experience managing RBAC, Managed Identities, SPNs, App Registrations
- Hands-on experience with Docker
- Database skills with Azure SQL, MongoDB, SQL, and Cosmos DB
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools
- Familiarity with cloud automation, especially infrastructure automation
- Comfortable exploring Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Developer Experience (DX), UI, and architecture as necessary
- Familiarity with widely used Azure resources, including ASB / Event Hub, AKS / ACA, Storage Account
