Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the exclusive HR representative in Brazil, with plans to establish and lead a local HR team.
- Oversee daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and industry standards.
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance reviews, promotions, transfers, and offboarding.
- Create and enforce HR policies aligned with the company's mission and values.
- Maintain accurate employee records and up-to-date HR databases.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to establish and guide payroll processes.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture.
- Handle complex employee relations issues and conduct internal investigations as needed.
- Analyze HR data, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
- Conduct compensation analyses and develop supporting business cases.
- Ensure the HR information system is accurate and well-maintained.
- Facilitate effective communication across HR, Operations, and other departments.
Essential Skills & Qualifications – HR Manager
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English, with strong communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including 5 years in leadership roles.
- Proven success in designing and implementing HR strategies.
- Thorough knowledge of Brazilian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR are a plus.
