Job summary
A leading digital engineering company is seeking a Python Engineer with expertise in ArcGIS Pro to work from home. You will be part of a dynamic team, creating innovative solutions and implementing them from coding to production. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python, Oracle SQL, and agile methodologies. This role offers a full-time position in an engaging and forward-thinking environment within the digital engineering space.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Python.
- Strong understanding of ArcGIS Pro and related technologies.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Digest requirements from the product team and implement scalable solutions.
- Develop, test, and deploy solutions in production environments.
- Actively participate in all stages of agile processes.

As an experienced developer, you will work in a dynamic team on creating innovative solutions and implementing solutions from coding to testing to production deployment support
- Digest requirements from the product team and work on solutions with performance and scalability features;
- Implement solutions from coding to testing to production deployment support;
- Follow agile processes and participate actively in all development phases.
- Expertise in ArcGIS Pro;
- Proficiency in development in Python;
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL;
- Experience with pyTest;
- Experience with Django and Flask frameworks;
- Experience with Linux environments;
- Experience with modeling, producing, and consuming web services-based APIs (RESTful).
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Salesforce integration via APIs;
- Experience with Docker;
- Experience with Jenkins;
- Experience with OpenShift;
- Knowledge of Agile development (e.g. using Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, etc.);
- Familiarity with principles of distributed systems.
