Qualifications
- 5+ years of overall professional experience.
- Experience in Java (Spring Boot) for API development.
- 3 years API Management experience (Apigee / KrakenD / AWS Gateway).
- Strong cloud platform experience (AWS / GCP).
- Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript.
- Experience with React or Angular.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Apigee or similar tools.
- Implement scalable and secure API architectures.
- Develop backend services and frontend applications.
- Work with cloud environments for deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
- Utilize CI / CD pipelines and manage code deployments.
- Write robust unit and automated tests.
- Contribute to API standards and documentation.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver quality software.

Role : Software Engineer
Location : Brazil (Remote)
Employment Type : Contract
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Apigee (preferred), KrakenD, or AWS API Gateway.
- Implement scalable and secure API architectures using REST, gRPC, and GraphQL.
- Develop backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and frontend applications using JavaScript / TypeScript with React or Angular.
- Work with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP for deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
- Utilize CI / CD pipelines (ADO Pipelines), GitHub, Docker, and Kubernetes to manage code, build processes, and deployments.
- Write robust unit, integration, and automated tests using tools such as Cucumber and Mockito.
- Contribute to cross‑organization API standards, documentation, and best practices.
- Collaborate with Agile / Scrum teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
- 5+ years of overall professional experience.
- Java (Spring Boot) – API Development.
- API Management (Apigee / KrakenD / AWS Gateway) – 3 years.
- Cloud Platforms (AWS / GCP).
- JavaScript / TypeScript.

- Strong understanding of API protocols and architectural patterns (REST, gRPC, GraphQL).

- Ability to write clear documentation and contribute to API governance efforts.
