Overview

Waters Corporation is currently seeking a LATAM Lead Qualification Specialist.

Reporting to the Inbound Sales Manager, and as part of the Americas Inside Sales organization, you will maximize MQL-opportunity conversion, drive sales funnel size and health, and ultimately grow the opportunity and nurture pipeline.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with new and existing customer contacts that have expressed an interest in Waters solutions, identify their needs and generate business opportunities through the conversion of MQLs to the state of sales readiness or to contacts for nurture.
  • Cover a range of product and solution offerings, aligned with current marketing campaign and product portfolio messaging and focus.
  • Look for opportunities based on prospecting initiatives developed by marketing and / or sales teams, using or creating prospecting lists;
  • Use of different platforms to find prospects and understand their buying intent, like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Research Gate, other Social Networks, Google Scholar, Salesforce reports, regional industry lists, etc.
  • Have meetings with LTAM marketing and sales teams to update about market insights and prospecting priorities
  • Complete the necessary information in our customer relationship management system (Salesforce) to allow for ongoing nurture of customer contacts in future marketing and business development activities, and / or seamless handover to account managers for opportunity development.
  • Work to meet or exceed lead qualification key performance indicator targets as set by the Inbound Sales Managers, aligned with service-level agreements between sales, marketing, and demand generation.
Qualifications
  • BSc or higher in an analytical or life science-related discipline.
  • Sales, tele (inside) sales, business development, or marketing experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with the market of analytical instrumentation and / or Waters' primary customer market segments.
  • Knowledge of chromatography, mass spectrometry, and related consumables and software advantageous.
  • Knowledge or experience with Salesforce and / or Marketo is valuable.
