Job summary
A leading technology company located in Porto Alegre, Brazil, is seeking a Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience. The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and proficient in GoLang or Python, with a strong understanding of CI/CD practices. Expertise in security within a CI/CD environment and Kubernetes is essential. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to innovative projects.

- Expertise in implementing security best practices in a CI/CD environment.
- Strong background in software engineering with proficiency in GoLang or Python.

Tools
- Experience: 5+ years in a Software Engineering role.
- Language: Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Software Development Proficiency: Strong background in software engineering with proficiency in GoLang or Python. You should be comfortable with object-oriented programming, data structures, REST API design, and writing testable, production-quality code (not just operational scripts).
- DevSecOps Expertise: Proven experience implementing security best practices in a CI/CD environment. Familiarity with automated security scanning, secrets management (e.g., HashiCorp Vault), and compliance automation.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm. Experience with Service Meshes like Istio or Linkerd is a plus.
- Cloud Platforms: Proficiency with either GCP or AWS services.
- CI/CD & GitOps: Deep experience with CI/CD platforms like GitLab/GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Infrastructure as Code: Hands-on experience with Terraform.
- Observability & Monitoring: Proven experience with the Prometheus/Grafana/Loki stack for monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Full Stack: A solid understanding of full-stack development principles to effectively support development teams.
- Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
- Relevant certifications, such as AWS/GCP Certified.
- Familiarity with other observability tools like Jaeger or OpenTelemetry.
