The Elite Job is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Analyst – IT & Web Applications to lead quality efforts across our digital platforms. In this role, you will be instrumental in defining and executing robust QA strategies to ensure our web applications and IT systems meet the highest standards of functionality, performance, security, and usability. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to proactively identify issues, drive best practices, and help deliver seamless digital experiences to our users.

• Design, implement, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for web and IT systems.

• Lead the QA lifecycle in Agile/Scrum environments, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and stand-ups.

• Conduct functional, regression, performance, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Identify, track, and manage bugs and issues using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and improve quality standards and testing frameworks.

• Ensure all software releases meet or exceed business and technical requirements.

• Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes.

• Stay up to date with emerging testing tools and trends in QA automation and web technology.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Proven experience with QA methodologies, tools, and processes in IT and web application environments.

• Strong command of test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum frameworks.

• Proficient in using issue tracking and test management software (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.

• At least 2 years in a senior or lead QA role with hands-on experience in web and IT systems.

• Experience in testing API services using Postman or similar tools.

• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week.

• Flexible working hours with core availability between 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST.

• Remote work with optional hybrid collaboration based on candidates location.

• Expertise in QA automation and manual testing across web and IT platforms.

• Ability to identify patterns, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventative solutions.

• Proficiency in scripting and querying using languages such as JavaScript, Python, or SQL is a plus.
