Job Purpose

Responsible for performing structural maintenance, repair, and modification tasks on Emirates and third-party aircraft in accordance with approved company procedures, engineering documents, and regulatory requirements. The Structure Technician works as part of a team under the supervision and guidance of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer or Lead Technician.

About the Role

The Structure Technician will carry out inspections, repairs, fabrication, and installation of aircraft structural components and assemblies, ensuring airworthiness and quality standards are maintained at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out structural maintenance, repair, and modification tasks on aircraft and components in accordance with approved manuals and procedures.
  • Inspect, assess, and rectify structural damage using appropriate tools, materials, and repair schemes.
  • Fabricate and install structural parts and assemblies as per engineering drawings and OEM standards.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to the required quality standards.
  • Support Licensed Aircraft Engineers and work collaboratively within a team to achieve maintenance targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
Qualifications & Experience

Experience: Minimum 5 years in aircraft structural maintenance and repair.

Qualifications
  • Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance (Structures) or equivalent formal training with a reputable airline or approved maintenance organization.
  • Knowledge of structural repair manuals (SRM) and aircraft material processes.
Required Skills
  • Proven experience in sheet metal and composite repairs.
  • Skilled in fabrication, riveting, and use of precision measuring tools.
  • Familiarity with aircraft safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
