Backend Developer Leader

We are hiring a skilled Backend Developer to lead the design, build, and scale of the backend system that powers AI employees. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience in backend engineering in high-growth environments and proficiency with AWS and GitHub Actions. As a senior developer, you will work closely with our team to develop scalable, data-intensive services with modern APIs and robust infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of scalable backend services using modern APIs and robust infrastructure. Develop data-intensive services using distributed systems, APIs, reliability, performance, and database systems (SQL + NoSQL).

Collaborate with the team to improve architecture and implement best practices.

Requirements

6+ years of backend engineering experience in high-growth environments. Strong experience building scalable, data-intensive services with modern APIs and robust infrastructure. Proficiency with AWS and GitHub Actions. Deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, reliability, performance, and database systems (SQL + NoSQL).

Experience with modern stacks - TypeScript / Node preferred, but equivalent backend stacks are welcome.
