What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Provide field access support services and education to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to maximize patient access to company products
- Communicate with Specialty Pharmacies (SPs) and Closed Door Pharmacies (CDPs) to support marketed products in the U.S.
- Build and maintain relationships with pharmacies, physicians, and HCPs to resolve coverage issues for prescriptions
- Train HCPs on payer‑specific coverage policies, documentation requirements, and patient financial assistance programs
- Monitor and improve the pharmacy distribution network's effectiveness by utilizing end‑user feedback
What is Required (Qualifications)
- BS/BA degree in a related field AND 6+ years of pharma/biotech commercial experience, including 2+ years with specialty pharmacy/market access
- Strong understanding of specialty pharmacies, managed care, pharmacy benefit managers, and government payers
- Excellent knowledge of patient support programs, including reimbursement and financial assistance programs
- Ability to communicate payer coverage criteria and prior authorization processes effectively
- Willingness to travel overnight up to 60% for field sales and industry meetings
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred AND 4+ years of related experience
- Experience with specialty products in the CNS area
- Previous roles in sales, management, marketing, or managed markets within pharma/biotech
- Knowledge of best practices in functional disciplines and familiarity with broader business concepts
- Strong project management skills and ability to work in a cross‑functional environment
