What you’ll be doing...
- Lead the Prime Named AE for Public Sector, responsible for driving the sales journey and managing a team of Account Executives to facilitate complex, strategic transactions.
- Develop and execute an aggressive customer acquisition strategy to achieve strong revenue and bookings growth annually.
- Manage the sales process, set and forecast appropriate metrics, and ensure pipeline generation meets targets.
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across public sector clients, including government agencies, educational institutions, and non-profits.
- Leverage extensive public sector experience to navigate complex sales cycles, ensuring compliance with procurement and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with product, customer success, and services teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
- Stay informed about competition and market trends within the public sector.
- Implement operational excellence, drive adoption of sales methodologies, and utilize sales tools effectively.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal teams to align strategies and deliver value to public sector clients.
Who you are...
- 8+ years of experience in sales, with leadership experience as an Account Executive or Sales Manager.
- Deep experience working with public sector clients, understanding their needs, and navigating government procurement processes.
- Consistent overachievement of sales quotas and revenue targets.
- Proven ability to build loyal, satisfied, and referenceable customer relationships.
- Experience leading a high-performing sales team within a matrixed organization.
- Strong operational, analytical, and strategic skills, especially in complex software sales at the C-level.
- Ability to develop tailored strategies for public sector entities, understanding their unique challenges and goals.
