In doing so, the team drives innovative solutions in close coordination with many internal stakeholders, especially government relations (GR), finance, tax, marketing, the business development teams and local outside counsel.

Sustainable business growth and evaluating and managing key business risks are the main priorities for the legal business partners team. Please notice that CVs in English will be considered primarily. This position is based in Sao Paulo.

What you will do

• Support the Legal team in providing legal assistance across different departments such as Business, Marketing, GR, and Product.
• Assist in monitoring regulatory updates and preparing reports or summaries on relevant legal developments.
• Help review product features, advertising materials, and internal templates to ensure compliance with local laws and company policies.
• Support the preparation and review of contracts, risk assessments, and legal memos under the guidance of senior counsels.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects, learning how legal considerations impact business strategies.
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders and assist in gathering information or documentation required by the headquarters.
• Contribute to internal compliance processes by maintaining organized records and supporting the implementation of legal guidelines.
• Proactively learn about applicable legislation in areas such as consumer protection, marketing, civil law, contracts, and digital regulation.
• Drafting policies and guidelines.

What we expect from you

• Experience working as in house legal counsel for IT companies or law firms providing support for IT companies are highly preferred.
• Working experience at the international company will be additional plus.
• English language proficiency at C1 / C2 level local language (IELTS academic 6,5 9).
• Experience in Civil law, Media / Marketing / Advertising regulation, Consumer protection regulation, Pre litigation : claims resolution, Commercial law / Contracts.
