Responsibilities

• Accept referrals and ensure proper assessment based on priority, criteria, demographic information, service level, and staffing availability
• Assign referrals and recommend internal case transfers, considering staff availability and caseloads
• Maintain accurate intake and reporting logs, tracking information related to abuse and neglect
• Communicate with care provider programs on referral acceptances and schedule interviews as needed
• Conduct data entry of referral acceptances and maintain electronic case files for accuracy

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• One year experience working with children and youth, case management, or child welfare services
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems
• Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Social Services or a relevant field
• A minimum of 3 years\' experience in childcare or residential care for adolescents
