A leading automotive company is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage the procurement of materials and services. The role includes developing the supplier base and ensuring compliance with global purchasing guidelines. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a commercial background, advanced English, and strong analytical and negotiation skills. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to contribute to purchasing strategies and supplier performance management in São Paulo.

Responsabilidades

• Manage procurement of materials and services.
• Support development of the regional supplier base.

Job Description

• Manage procurement of materials and services in line with company standards and timelines.
• Support in the development of the regional supplier base, ensuring compliance with global purchasing guidelines.
• Assist in negotiating commercial conditions with suppliers, aiming for competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery) and support relationship management.
• Contribute to the implementation of purchasing strategies that enhance cost-efficiency and mitigate supply risks.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of purchasing data and KPIs to improve process performance.
• Participate in sourcing processes, including RFQs, bid evaluations, and supplier selection.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.

Knowledge/Skills

• Engineering or commercial background (Administration, Economics, Engineering, others)
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and with suppliers.
• Proactivity and willingness to learn and grow within the purchasing function.

Software Knowledge

• MS Office (Excel + Power Point Mandatory)
• Familiarity with procurement tools and SAP.

Experience

• Experience in purchasing or related supply chain functions.

Education

• Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering or commercial background (Administration, Economics, Engineering, others)

Languages

• Advanced English
• Spanish will be considered a plus
