A leading global beverage company in São Paulo is looking for a Tax Manager to analyze and interpret tax laws and manage a tax team. You will need to have a Bachelor’s degree and ideally 8-10 years of experience in tax management within multinational companies. Excellent communication and risk management skills are essential. Job Description: About the Function

What you will be responsible for
  • Analyzing and interpretation of direct tax law, communicating how existing and future tax laws impact the business into terms that are easily understood by non-tax people;
  • Direct tax Planning and Projects;
  • Obtain and manage direct tax incentives;
  • Review and support tax coordinator on Direct taxes calculation, including Transfer Pricing;
  • Tax Reports local and to global;
  • Identify and lead action plans to identify opportunities and mitigate potential risks;
  • Lead internal and external audits;
  • Work with Legal team to define litigation strategy at administrative and judicial spheres;
  • Assist with managing relationships with outside tax advisors and external associations on an ongoing basis.
The qualifications and experience you will bring
  • Bachelor’s degree completed in Accounting; Economy or Law;
  • Ideally minimum 5 years’ experience in managing tax team;
  • Ideally minimum 8‑10 years’ relevant tax experience in multinational companies and / or industry / Big 4 advisory environment;
  • Strong tax and accounting knowledge in direct taxes (Income Tax and Social Contributions, including Transfer Pricing).
