A leading financial services firm is seeking a Compliance Officer to oversee compliance activities in Brazil. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in compliance or similar roles, particularly in commodities or financial institutions. Responsibilities include monitoring transactions for fraud, developing compliance policies, and conducting training. Proficiency in English and Portuguese is mandatory. Marex has a growing presence in Brazil in Agricultural and Clearing activities, including the recent acquisition of Agrinvest, a relevant player in commodities physical brokerage, agricultural risk & educational consulting as well as the introduction of Brazilian and International listed derivatives.
This position will cover both Agrinvest and other Marex Brazil’s activities and projects in Brazil from a Compliance perspective. The successful candidate will be required To implement, monitor, and maintain compliance policies and procedures, ensuring the company complies with legal, regulatory, and internal standards, especially in commodity trading operations, which involve high regulatory and financial risk.
