Role Overview

The Business Development Senior Manager LATAM will lead the design and execution of strategic growth initiatives across the region. Based in São Paulo, this role will contribute to the evaluation of new markets, channels, and partnerships, helping Resmed expand patient access and drive sustainable revenue growth.

This position is ideal for a senior professional who drives strategic vision and execution, with deep expertise in market analysis, partnership development and commercial innovation. The Business Development Manager will coordinate initiatives with Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and other countries in the region, ensuring alignment with business priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of LATAM new business strategy and growth plans.
  • Oversee the creation of the business cases and financial models to evaluate high-impact opportunities.
  • Direct the execution of strategic projects that evolve into scalable and sustainable business models.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic healthcare partnerships (providers, payors, digital health players, startups).
  • Lead negotiations and structuring complex partnership agreements.
  • Oversee the pipeline of opportunities with strategic metrics and performance goals.
  • Lead and present quarterly reviews to senior leadership providing strategic insights and resource planning.
  • Conduct analysis of new market entry opportunities, channels, and portfolio strategies.
  • Coordinate pilots and support the validation of new commercial initiatives.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and provide input on potential M&A opportunities.
  • Assess consumer penetration levels and identify areas for market expansion.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams (commercial, finance, clinical, operations) to ensure effective execution.
  • Promote an ethical, collaborative, and high‑performance culture, supporting team initiatives and development.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree required.
  • 12+ years of experience in business development, strategy, or commercial leadership roles, ideally in healthcare, medtech, pharma, or consumer sectors.
  • Exposure to revenue and profitability management, with ability to support P&L tracking and reporting.
  • Familiarity with M&A processes and partnership structures.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Digital mindset, with experience in e‑business or digital transformation.
  • Proven ability to work across multiple markets and manage regional complexity.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with ability to influence across teams.
  • Results‑oriented, entrepreneurial, and adaptable to changing environments.
  • Availability to travel extensively across Latin America.
