Job description
This role requires coordination and control of all maintenance activities related to the plants machinery, equipment and facilities. The objective is to manage the maintenance team ensuring compliance with safety regulations and optimizing the reliability and efficiency of the manufacturing processes to meet all business requirements.
Responsibilities
Ensure highest commitment towards health and safety.
Ensure that the maintenance manual is reviewed and updated on yearly basis which includes maintenance procedures, maintenance schedules, procedure for purchase of spare parts and management of waste.
Manage the budget for maintenance and engineering requirements with details of Capex and Revex for the financial year. Prepare the Financial memo for purchase of equipments in line with company guidelines.
Ensure that Fosroc Project Methodology is implemented for all plant related projects which is inline with group policies and procedures.
Ensure that all critical equipments have been identified and all are running in reliable condition to ensure business continuity. Spare parts order plan and inventory control plan to be closely monitored for effective control.
Generate month end reports related to maintenance team monthly performance (KPI) and details related to cost of quality and submit to Line Manager on monthly basis.
Train the team members on troubleshooting and repair of machinery. Provide solutions with help of 3rd party contractors to resolve breakdown issues.
Implement continuous improvements plans and actively participate is carrying out 5S, A3, FMEA etc.
Resposnssible for managing and maintaining records and book keeping related to work orders, permits and certificates which are audited internally and externally as per audit schedule.
Implement the process of waste management for all sites and ensure that general or hazardous waste is not accumulated on site and disposal is carried out as per local authority rules at all times.
