Via Medica International Healthcare is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team and play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial data, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and UAE regulations.
Record and post daily financial transactions accurately (AP/AR/GL)
Assist with bank reconciliations and petty cash management
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Help prepare financial reports, summaries, and statements
Reconcile vendor and customer accounts regularly
Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records
Assist with VAT preparation and compliance
Coordinate with auditors and provide supporting documents
Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned
Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficient in MS Excel; knowledge of accounting software is a plus
Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal)
