Responsibilities
  • Analyze ledgers and accounts to reconcile financial data in a timely manner.
  • Maintain awareness of the company’s financial position on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial systems, strengthening internal control measures.
  • Prepare financial reports in line with group timelines and report to the Management team as needed.
  • Manage daily cash flow and forecasts to identify the company’s financial needs.
  • Work closely with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Produce and validate ad hoc reports and presentations requested by management.
  • Monitor the country’s annual budget, highlight variances, and recommend remedial actions.
  • Ensure adequate funding for operations by managing cash flow and forecasting needs for over drafts, CIL, term loans, LGs, SBLCs, and FOREX.
  • Manage payments and transfers to suppliers, ensuring timely execution and notifying suppliers with swift copies of transfers.
  • Ensure compliance with taxation regulations, GAAP/IFRS, and company procedures, consulting with tax advisors.
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate team members to maintain a skilled and motivated department.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar field.
