Job summary
A Leading Main Contractor in UAE is seeking a Senior Design Manager to manage the design process for a large High Rise Residential project. The ideal candidate should have at least 12 years of design management experience with a strong understanding of local building codes and regulations. Responsibilities include overseeing design alignment, liaising with clients and teams, and providing technical leadership. A Bachelor's degree in Architecture or similar is required, along with strong leadership and communication skills.

- Proven experience delivering Major Build projects in the UAE/GCC.
- Strong understanding of UAE building codes and regulations.

A Leading Main Contractor operating across the UAE are seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager to join its team delivering a large High Rise Residential project.
- Lead and manage the overall design process across all stages of the project, ensuring alignment with project objectives, budget, and program.
- Act as the primary liaison between the client, consultants, sub contractors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication.
- Drive design progress and conduct constructability assessments.
- Review and approve design documentation, ensuring compliance with local regulations, international standards, and project requirements.
- Provide technical leadership across architectural and engineering disciplines, ensuring high-quality design output.
- Support senior leadership in strategic planning, risk management, and decision-making.
- Architectural background (Bachelor's degree required) or similar
- Minimum 12 years design management experience, with proven experience delivering Major Build projects in the UAE/GCC.
- Strong understanding of UAE building codes, development regulations, authority approval processes, and local market dynamics.
- Demonstrated experience working on High Rise Residential projects or similar.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring design teams.
- Strong technical and commercial acumen with the ability to drive project progress and resolve complex issues.
- Exceptional communication, client-facing, and stakeholder management skills.
