The Automotive Foreman is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring efficient workflow, quality repairs, and timely service delivery. The role involves supervising a team of technicians, diagnosing complex vehicle issues, coordinating repairs, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and coordinate the workflow in the service center, ensuring efficient job allocation and timely completion.
2. Supervise a team of technicians, mechanics, and apprentices, providing guidance and support.
3. Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
4. Conduct daily briefings to assign tasks, discuss challenges, and set productivity goals.

1. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex vehicle issues across multiple brands.
2. Provide technical assistance and mentorship to technicians.
3. Inspect completed jobs for quality assurance and compliance with manufacturer standards.
4. Keep up to date with the latest automotive technologies, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques.

1. Communicate with service advisors regarding job progress, delays, and repair recommendations.
2. Assist in explaining technical issues to customers when required.
3. Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and resolving complaints efficiently.

1. Monitor parts availability and coordinate with the parts department for timely procurement.
2. Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.
3. Maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections on CRM software system.

1. Provide ongoing training and skill development to technicians.
2. Conduct performance evaluations and recommend improvement plans for workshop staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
2. Strong technical knowledge of multiple vehicle brands, including diagnostics and repair procedures.
3. Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team.
4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
5. Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
6. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and service management software.
7. Good communication skills and customer service orientation.

Language Skills:

• Preferably English/Arabic speaking

Other Skills and Abilities:

• Familiar with all kinds of service equipment and tools as to their usages.
• Have a UAE driving licence.
