Job summary
A leading aerospace maintenance firm based in Abu Dhabi seeks an A&P Mechanic responsible for maintaining aircraft to ensure airworthiness. The ideal candidate will perform repairs following FAA regulations, interpret technical documents, and communicate effectively with clients and team members. Applicants should possess an A&P license and have at least 2 years of hands-on experience, preferably with military rotary or fixed wing aircraft. This role demands flexibility to work in various conditions and adherence to safety standards.

The A&P Mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance repair inspection and servicing of aircraft to ensure airworthiness. This includes troubleshooting mechanical issues working from technical manuals and blueprints and adhering to FAA regulations. This role requires both technical expertise and a commitment to safety and quality often involving direct interaction with clients.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on airframes and engines of fixed wing and/or rotary aircraft.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and system issues and perform repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and FAA regulations.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings maintenance manuals and other technical documents.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and maintenance logs accurately including parts usage and labor hours.
- Operate ground support equipment and obtain necessary qualifications for its use.
- Communicate effectively with team members management and clients regarding aircraft status and maintenance needs.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained controlled and calibrated.
- Adhere to safety procedures quality standards and environmental regulations.
- Participate in required training programs and stay current with changes in technology and regulatory requirements.
- You have an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
- Minimum of 2 years of handson experience maintaining aircraft (military rotary or fixed wing)
- Experience with business jets (preferred but not required).
- Strong understanding of FAA regulations and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Must own and maintain a complete set of basic hand tools.
- Ability to work in varying conditions including outdoors in inclement weather.
- Flexibility to work overtime weekends holidays and oncall shifts as needed.
