Crane Technician – Electrical

• Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on offshore cranes, with a specific focus on the Safe Load Indicator (SLI) system.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities on the equipment to ensure accurate load measurements and safe crane operations.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Diagnose electrical faults in the SLI system, analyze equipment malfunctions, and develop effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure accurate load monitoring.
• Install, calibrate, and upgrade Electrical & SLI systems on offshore cranes, ensuring compatibility and adherence to specifications.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment history, repairs, and replacements performed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on offshore installations, ensuring personal and team safety at all times.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide technical support as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to SLI systems and offshore crane operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

• At least a vocational/technical High School Diploma Holder.
• Safety Training Certification – Complex certification will be an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in the same field, 3 years in a lifting equipment environment.
• Experience in repair & maintenance of cranes-related equipment.
• Experience in working to schedules.
• Preferred Experience in the offshore service industry or a similar environment.
• Experience in cranes & lifting equipment maintenance & repair.
