What you will do

The Senior Technician Security Systems is a key role reporting directly to the Project Manager and will be based in Dubai. As a Senior Technician, you will support ACS and CCTV systems through field commissioning, troubleshooting, onsite system verification, and PPM activities. This may include supervising and directing field subcontractors.

As a member of this team, you will work within a dynamic environment that provides a platform for developing your technical and project management skills.

How you will do it

As a Technician, you must have good knowledge of the latest security system products and electronics/networking. You will be hands-on with programming controllers, installing and commissioning various Access Control System & CCTV System Platforms, Visitor Management Systems, Speed Gates, Car Park Barriers, Road Blockers, Bollards, ANPR, and setting up third-party software integrations. You will demonstrate your expertise by conducting system operation training, creating handover documents for smooth customer transition, and maintaining high safety standards at all times.

What we look for

Required

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Electronic or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with installation, testing, commissioning, and servicing of various CCTV brands (e.g., Avigilon, Hikvision, Pelco), thermal cameras, and CCTV storage systems.
• Proven technical knowledge and experience working on Access Control systems (CEM & C-CURE ACS applications).
• Proven technical knowledge and experience working on Intrusion Detection, ANPR, & PAVA systems.
• Proven technical knowledge and experience working on Road Blockers, Bollards, Gate Barriers, and Fire Systems.
• Solid knowledge of field cabling and installation best practices for ACS and CCTV systems.
• Ability to organize and utilize technical resources and support for efficient task execution and coordination with third-party service providers and vendors.
• Ability to provide solutions to complex system problems through troubleshooting or advising on resolutions.
• Adherence to company safety policies and procedures to ensure safe and professional task performance.
• Ability to escalate technical issues and provide coaching, mentoring, and technical assistance to team members and clients.
• Act as a focal point for client communications with sales and manufacturers to meet client requirements.
• Coordinate with clients' IT teams to understand their network requirements and guide deployment best practices for ACS and CCTV systems.
• Experience in preparing incident reports and root cause analysis reports.
• Fluent in English speaking and writing.
• Valid UAE Driving License.
