Accountant – Heavy Equipment Division

Location: Dubai, UAE

GTHE is looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be CA qualified with solid experience in the heavy equipment or machinery industry and a strong understanding of financial processes, compliance, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures.
• Handle VAT submissions and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and cost controls.
• Work closely with internal departments to support business operations.

Requirements:

• CA-qualified (essential)
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the heavy equipment or automotive sector.
• Strong knowledge of VAT, IFRS, and financial regulations in the UAE.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
