Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to spearhead the development and growth of our newly established Mortgage vertical at Yubi. As the Vice President - Mortgage you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end profit and loss (P&L) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for our mortgage business encompassing both retail and commercial segments. This role demands a strategic mindset strong business acumen and a passion for building a technology-driven mortgage platform tailored to the UAE market.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the mortgage vertical aligning with Yubi s overall business goals and objectives. Formulate and implement long-term plans to drive growth profitability and market dominance in the UAE mortgage sector.
P&L and AOP Management: Take ownership of the entire P&L and AOP for the mortgage vertical ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded. Analyse financial performance identify opportunities for optimization and implement strategies to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
Product Development and Innovation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative mortgage products and services that cater to the evolving needs of retail and commercial customers. Leverage technology to streamline processes enhance customer experience and drive competitive advantage.
Partnerships and Ecosystem Development: Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders including real estate developers brokers aggregators and other industry players. Foster an ecosystem that facilitates seamless integration and collaboration driving business growth and customer acquisition.
Technology Integration and Enablement: Work closely with technology teams to build a cutting-edge technology-centric mortgage business. Ensure the adoption of advanced technologies such as AI data analytics and automation to enhance operational efficiency risk management and customer experience. Champion a digital-first approach and drive the development of innovative technology solutions tailored for the mortgage industry.
Channel Management: Oversee and optimize multiple distribution channels including direct sales broker networks real estate partnerships and aggregation platforms. Develop and implement channel-specific strategies to maximize reach customer acquisition and market penetration.
Talent Management and Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team of mortgage professionals fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and excellence. Attract develop and retain top talent to drive the growth and success of the mortgage vertical.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all relevant laws regulations and industry standards governing the mortgage industry in the UAE. Implement robust compliance frameworks and risk management protocols to mitigate legal and operational risks.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven track record of success in senior leadership roles within the mortgage industry with 15 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing successful business strategies driving revenue growth and managing P&L and AOP for large-scale operations.
Strong understanding of the UAE mortgage market including consumer behaviour regulatory landscape and industry trends.
Extensive experience in building and managing high-performing teams with a focus on talent development and leadership.
Proficiency in leveraging technology to drive innovation operational efficiency and customer experience in the mortgage industry.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and navigate complex business challenges.
Strong stakeholder management and partnership-building skills with the ability to establish and maintain strategic relationships.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Master s Degree/MBA in a relevant field (e.g. Finance Business Administration Economics).
Affinity for building a technology-centric business model and embracing digital transformation initiatives in the mortgage industry.
