A leading finance company is seeking a Spanish-Speaking General Accountant to join its remote team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the mortgage or financial services sectors. Responsibilities include maintaining compliance with UAE regulations, preparing financial reports, and managing client communications in both Spanish and English. Proficiency in accounting software and strong analytical skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in the mortgage or financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with UAE financial regulations and IFRS standards.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions in compliance with UAE standards.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports to support company goals.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices and payments.
