Job summary
A leading maintenance company in Dubai seeks an experienced Senior Technician Maintenance for advanced electrical work. The successful candidate will perform maintenance and troubleshooting on a variety of electrical systems, including High Voltage and Medium Voltage equipment. An essential requirement is a Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering along with a minimum of 5 years experience. Availability for on-call and emergency services is crucial for this role.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in operating and maintaining electrical equipment.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory and systems.
- Proficient in troubleshooting various electrical systems and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical equipment according to schedule.
- Be available on-call to handle emergency service needs.

- The Senior Electrical Technician is responsible for performing advanced electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on various electrical systems and equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, for the electrical equipment, in plants according to established schedule and maintenance cycle.
- Maintain and Troubleshoot Electrical equipment's (High Voltage / Medium Voltage / Low Voltage)- Switchgears, Circuit Breakers, Transformers, VFD, SS, UPS, Battery Charger, LV Control panels etc, in an efficient manner using tools and instruments and to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Be available on call to work 24x 7 service emergency needs of department requirements and Shutdown activity.
- 5+ years of experience in Operating and Maintaining and troubleshooting Electrical Equipment's comprising of High Voltage and Medium Voltage Switchgears, Medium Voltage and Low Voltage -VFDS and SS, UPS and Battery Charger and LV Control Panels
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory and systems
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
- MV Experience is mandatory ( Maintenance expertise in -Rotating Equipment's / Pumps, VFD, Soft starters, Transformers, Circuit brakers & UPS)
- Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
