Job Description

As a Telecom Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications systems. Your expertise will be vital in providing high-quality service and support for a range of telecom equipment and services, including telephone, internet, and satellite systems. You will diagnose and resolve network issues, conduct regular system inspections, and ensure that all telecom services are operating efficiently and at optimal performance. Working closely with team members, you will adhere to safety standards and protocols to deliver the best service possible. With a focus on customer satisfaction, you'll keep abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to support the growth and efficiency of telecom services.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair a variety of telecom systems and equipment on-site.
• Conduct detailed inspections of telecom systems to identify any potential issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot network problems to ensure efficient operation.
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex telecom issues efficiently.
• Perform regular equipment and system tests to verify operational reliability.
• Document service reports and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding telecom services.
• Adapt to new technologies and upgrades in the telecom industry as required.
• Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and company policies during all tasks.
• Manage and maintain inventory of telecom equipment and supplies for projects.
• Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for equipment and service needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
• Previous experience in telecom systems installation and maintenance is preferred.
• Strong understanding of telecom systems, networks, and related technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in technical tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
