Job Overview

BG Global Recruitment is recruiting for a well-reputed Food Manufacturing Company in the UAE. Our client is looking for a Machine Operator (Before Scalding) to operate and monitor equipment in the early stages of the poultry processing line, specifically the machinery used before scalding. Duties include shackling stunning and ensuring the proper flow and handling of live poultry in compliance with animal welfare safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate and monitor the Giblet Line to ensure proper removal of internal organs.
  • Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain efficiency and product quality.
  • Ensure a continuous flow of poultry through the Giblet line.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure offals are properly eviscerated/segregated and meet standards.
  • Conduct routine cleaning and sanitation of the Giblet Line/Gizzard machine to meet hygiene regulations.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to prevent machine breakdowns.
  • Report mechanical issues to the maintenance and production manager for repairs.
  • Follow strict biosecurity and food safety procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, USDA, GMP).
  • Follow all workplace safety protocols including proper use of PPE.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance data including downtime and machine performance.
  • Assist in training new workers on proper machine operation and safety guidelines.
  • Inspect and coordinate edible offals for defects and report any irregularities to the quality control team.
  • Work closely with quality assurance personnel to ensure product consistency.
  • Coordinate with the process team to monitor waste levels and work to minimize product loss.
