Role Summary:

Responsible to monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks of the organization. It will install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware/software faults, and solve technical problems, either over the phone or face-to-face.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, set up, and configure CCTV cameras, monitors, DVRs (Digital Video Recorders), NVRs (Network Video Recorders), and other related equipment.
• Ensure proper positioning and alignment of cameras to capture desired surveillance areas.
• Run and terminate cabling (e.g., coaxial, Ethernet) for camera connections.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
• Perform regular maintenance of CCTV systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with cameras, recorders, and other components.
• Replace faulty equipment or components as needed.
• Networking:
• Configure network settings for IP-based CCTV systems.
• Set up remote viewing and access capabilities for authorized personnel.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
• Recording and Storage:
• Configure recording settings, such as frame rates and video quality.
• Manage storage solutions for recorded video footage, including hard drives or cloud-based storage.
• Stay up-to-date with technological advancements in CCTV equipment and recommend upgrades or enhancements.
• Perform software and firmware updates to ensure system security and functionality.
• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and equipment inventory.
• Create detailed documentation and diagrams of CCTV systems for reference.
• Compliance and Security:
• Ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations related to surveillance.
• Implement security measures to protect CCTV systems from unauthorized access or tampering.
• Training:
• Provide training and guidance to end users or security personnel on the proper use of CCTV systems.
• Offer advice on best practices for surveillance.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 2 years UAE experience in the similar field.
• Knowledge of electrical works.
• Experience with ELV systems (CCTV & Cat6 cable termination).
• Proficiency in GI piping and cable pulling.
• Preference for candidates from Northern India.
