Job summary

A leading elevator service provider in Dubai is seeking a skilled Elevator Technician to handle routine service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of elevators and escalators. The ideal candidate will have an ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical field, and experience in elevator service is preferred. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing faults, and responding to emergency calls efficiently to ensure safe and smooth operation of lift systems at customer sites.

Qualifications

  • Experience in elevator service/maintenance preferred (freshers may apply if applicable).
  • Good understanding of lift systems and electrical/mechanical components.
  • Physically fit and willing to travel to customer locations.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance of elevators and escalators as per company standards.
  • Inspect mechanical, electrical, and safety components to ensure proper functioning.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Respond to breakdown calls and provide timely service support to customers.
  • Maintain service records, checklists, and documentation for each job attended.
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and report major issues requiring additional support.
  • Provide customer updates on work status and ensure professional service delivery.
  • Replace worn-out parts and perform adjustments to improve equipment performance.
  • Support installation teams when required (optional, depending on company needs).
