A renowned sweets manufacturer in Dubai is seeking an immediate joiner for the Kitchen Helper position. The role involves essential food preparation tasks such as washing, chopping, and organizing while maintaining hygiene standards. Key tasks include washing dishes/utensils, chopping produce, managing waste, and restocking supplies, often requiring physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift heavy items.
- Food Preparation: Washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting fruits, vegetables, and meat.
- Cleaning & Sanitizing: Scrubbing pots, pans, dishes, and kitchen surfaces; mopping floors; cleaning equipment and work areas.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and lift up to 40-50 pounds.
- Efficiency: Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of food safety standards and kitchen operations.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is often required, though many roles offer on-the-job training.
