- Dispense prescribed medications, following pharmacy protocols and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all dispensed medications.
- Compound medications according to established formulas.
- Provide advice on the selection, dosage, interactions, side effects, and storage of medications as required.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations concerning the sale of drugs.
- Monitor patient drug therapies by reviewing prescriptions for accuracy and evaluating their effectiveness.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
- Good communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations governing pharmaceuticals
- Ability to work effectively with customers and other health professionals
- An understanding of customer service principles and practices
- Proficiency in using computers for word processing, communication, and data entry
