We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Receiving Agent to join our team in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. As a Receiving Agent, you will play a crucial role in our organization\'s inventory management and logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and accurate record-keeping.
- Receive and inspect all incoming goods, verifying quantity and quality against purchase orders
- Process and document received items using our inventory management system
- Properly store and organize received goods in designated areas
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient warehouse operations
- Fulfill department requisitions in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist with regular inventory counts and reconciliations
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines in the warehouse
- Notify relevant departments upon arrival of goods
- Prepare and file completed receiving documentation according to established procedures
- Proven experience in warehouse or logistics operations preferred
- Proficiency in using inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items regularly
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping
- Solid math skills for accurate counting and inventory reconciliation
- Knowledge of inventory management practices and warehouse safety procedures
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
