About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Senior Database Developer to join the IT team.

The Primary Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role Are

1. Lead the design, development, and optimization of SQL Server databases to support enterprise applications, analytics, and operational systems. Requires deep expertise in SQL Server technologies, database architecture, and cloud-based deployments.
2. Design and implement robust SQL Server database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
3. Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS and other integration tools.
4. Optimize T-SQL queries and indexing strategies for performance and scalability.
5. Implement and manage Change Data Capture (CDC) for real-time data tracking.
6. Set up and maintain replication servers for high availability and disaster recovery.
7. Collaborate with application developers and analysts to support backend data needs.
8. Conduct database deployments and version control using CI/CD pipelines.
9. Monitor and troubleshoot database performance, integrity, and security.
10. Document database architecture, standards, and development processes.

About You

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience in SQL Server database development.
2. Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SQL Server Agent.
3. Highly skilled in T-SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
4. Advanced experience in writing and debugging complex stored procedures and functions.
5. Proficient in designing and managing triggers for business logic enforcement.
6. Hands-on experience with Change Data Capture and replication server setups.
7. Strong understanding of relational models, ER diagrams, normalization, and operational systems.
8. Experience deploying and managing SQL Server databases in Azure environments, with familiarity with CI/CD tools and versioning strategies for database code.
