We are and engineering and contracting company having Head Office in Dubai, Total manpower strength is approx. 3000 seeking an experienced Electrical Draftsman (5 Nos.) with a strong background in 132/11 kV substation construction projects. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in preparing accurate electrical drawings and layouts, including single line diagrams, protection and control schematics, cable routing, and earthing layouts in accordance with international and local standards (IEC, IEEE, SEC, DEWA, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings for 132/11 kV substations, including:
• Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
• General arrangement and equipment layout drawings
• Earthing and lighting layouts
• Coordinate with design engineers, site engineers, and project managers to ensure timely and accurate drawing submittals.
• Revise drawings based on engineering markups or site changes.
• Ensure compliance with Gulf utility authorities’ standards (e.g., DEWA, SEWA, SEC, KAHRAMAA, etc.).
• Maintain and organize all drafting files and drawing logs for easy retrieval and project reference.
• Support procurement and construction teams by providing required drawing details and clarifications.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of drafting experience in electrical substation projects.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and electrical drafting tools.
• Sound knowledge of 132/11 kV substation components and layout.
• Experience with Gulf utility companies’ standards and procedures (DEWA, SEWA, SEC, etc.) is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and civil engineering drawings.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous work experience in the Gulf region.
• Familiarity with SCADA and protection systems layout drawings.
• Knowledge of MicroStation, BIM or Revit MEP (optional, an added advantage).
