On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in Spring 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theater, nightclub, and five‑star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Commis 2 to join the resort’s Employee Dining team.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and assist with section workflow to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare raw meat, fish, vegetables, and sauces to hotel standards.
  • Supervise and guide Commis 3 in daily tasks and training.
  • Maintain sauces and stocks in optimal condition for service.
  • Ensure food distribution is timely and efficient, especially in employee dining.
  • Guarantee food freshness, hygiene, and proper storage according to company standards.
  • Uphold HACCP standards for dry and cold storage and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
  • Perform duties assigned by the Sous Chef and Chef de Partie.
  • Continuously improve health and safety standards within the section.
  • Interact with department employees, management, and contractors professionally and positively.
  • Attend department and inter‑department meetings and share relevant information.
  • Encourage good relationships, promote team spirit, and ensure effective multicultural communication.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct.
  • Participate actively in the company recycling program.
  • >Perform other duties as assigned.
About You
  • Due to gaming operations and associated regulatory requirements, the minimum age for employment is 21 years.
  • 1–2 years of prior kitchen experience preferred.
  • Ability to handle independent cooking tasks and guide junior employees.
  • Basic culinary training or certification preferred (culinary school or equivalent experience).
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle pressure during service times.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to hotel standards and procedures.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform kitchen duties.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Professional grooming and adherence to hotel standards.
