Remote Odoo Backend Engineer | Python & ERP
Job summary
A tech company in the UAE is seeking a dedicated Odoo Backend Developer to customize and manage ERP workflows. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in Odoo development, strong knowledge of Python, and experience with PostgreSQL. This full-time position requires strong communication skills and technical proficiency to optimize backend processes. Join a dynamic team to enhance ERP functionality through tailored solutions.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in backend Odoo development.
- Strong command of Python and understanding of Odoo ORM.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and XML / QWeb templates.
- Familiarity with Git and Linux environments.
- Prior experience with Odoo v14 or later preferred.
- Experience with Odoo.sh or Docker is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Customize and enhance Odoo modules to meet business requirements.
- Implement backend logic for manufacturing, inventory, invoicing, delivery, sales, and purchase processes.
- Create and update workflows including automated communications and report templates.
- Integrate third-party APIs or tools as needed.
- Maintain clean, efficient, and modular Python code within the Odoo framework.
- Optimize and manage PostgreSQL database performance.
- Participate in technical testing, issue resolution, and future ERP enhancements.
