The Role
At Guildhall we are looking for a highly skilled and self-driven Accountant with expertise in QuickBooks to manage our clients internal accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of UAE VAT and tax regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, seeking continuous process improvements, and collaborating across departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and tax regulations, including timely filing of VAT returns.
• Oversee cash flow management and budgeting processes.
• Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with management to develop and monitor key financial KPIs.
• Ensure timely closing of monthly and yearly financials.
• Support external audits and liaise with auditors as needed.
• Continuously seek ways to improve accounting processes and internal controls.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience working within corporate services, business setup, or related industries.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
