A leading financial services provider in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Chief Accountant. This role involves overseeing accounting for multiple legal entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards, and managing an accounting team across various locations. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in accounting with strong leadership skills and a track record in multi-entity operations.

- 10+ years of experience in accounting, managing multi-entity operations.
- Deep knowledge of IFRS standards and experience applying them in business.
- Experience in international trading.
Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting and bookkeeping for 10–15 legal entities in the UAE.
- Manage the accounting team in the UAE and others in Turkey, Egypt, and China.
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency in financial statements.
- Lead the consolidation and preparation of group financial statements.
- Oversee successful completion of audits.
- Implement accounting processes in line with IFRS standards.
- Support hiring and development of an accounting team.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to oversee the accounting and financial reporting for multiple entities across different jurisdictions.
- Oversee accounting and bookkeeping for 10–15 legal entities in the UAE (both free zone and non-free zone).
- Manage the accounting team in the UAE, as well as teams in Turkey, Egypt, and China.
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency in financial statements, with full visibility for the CFO and shareholders.
- Lead the consolidation and preparation of group financial statements, where applicable.
- Oversee and ensure successful completion of audits.
- Implement and maintain accounting processes in line with IFRS standards.
- Support the hiring and development of a 7–10 FTE accounting team.
- 10+ years of experience in accounting, with proven track record in managing multi-entity operations.
- Deep knowledge of IFRS standards and hands‑on experience applying them in a business environment.
- Experience in international trading.
- Strong leadership skills with team management experience (at least 2–3 direct reports).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics systems in a multi‑entity environment.
