• Develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy to align with the company's business objectives and growth plans within the UAE market.
• Forecast demand and develop robust production and inventory plans to meet customer needs while minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
• Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, developing contingency plans to ensure business continuity.

• Lead the sourcing and procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and other supplies, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers, negotiating contracts and managing vendor performance.
• Stay abreast of market trends and commodity prices, proactively identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and ethical sourcing practices.

• Oversee the production planning and scheduling processes to optimize resource utilization and meet production targets.

• Manage all aspects of logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of finished goods to customers across the UAE and potentially export markets.

• Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and inventory management.

• Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems to optimize stock levels, minimize waste (spoilage, obsolescence), and ensure product freshness.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends and implement improvements.

• Ensure full compliance with all relevant UAE food safety regulations, customs procedures, and other legal requirements.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to supply chain processes.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
• Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Foster a collaborative and continuous improvement culture within the supply chain function.

• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain performance.
• Analyze data and prepare regular reports on supply chain metrics, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings.
• Present supply chain performance updates to senior management.

• Identify and implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize the supply chain.

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with a significant portion of that experience within the food manufacturing industry in the UAE.
• Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end supply chain operations and driving significant improvements.
• Deep understanding of food safety regulations, quality standards, and shelf-life management within the food industry in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement strategies, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
• Expertise in production planning, inventory management techniques, and logistics optimization.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain management software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across different departments.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
