• Director of Design & Technical Services Middle East and GCC regions.
• Design & Technical appraisal of future and existing properties both own and in HMA status and new leads.
• Providing assistance and supervision on all aspects of Architectural and Interior Design schemes for compliancy with Brand standards and Brand expectations guest touch points.
• Providing case by case design solutions (including master plans, layouts), design alternatives and guidance on issues such as budget constraints, value engineering, take-overs, rebranding or conversions from own brands or competitors.
• Supervision and coordination of all brand standards aspects including overall design language, operations, MEP, engineering, life & safety guidelines.
• Coordinating with Operations team, property handover and property opening.
• Key role in assisting development team on leads and deals, on properties assessment and evaluation on cost estimates, GOP versus capital expenditure, rates and or costs per Key along with feasibility study.
• Responsible for coordinating with sales & marketing department on aspects related to property inventory such as guestroom matrix, property features and other design key aspects relevant to the sales and promotion of a property.
• To review consultants proposed design concept versus brand standards and brand design adjustments for MINOR Hotel brands and or a specific property.
• Ability to travel to several countries and capable to cope with 2 weeks of travels every 2 months.

• To be a good communicator and mediator between different operator disciplines and owner’s representatives and consultants.
• Excellence in Hotel Design concepts, feasibilities, innovative layout designs, capacity to push the brand standards and elevate the brand to new design recognitions in areas of the guestrooms, front of house and F&B outlets.
• Proven track record in the supervision and implementation of hospitality design projects whilst monitoring the project management and coordination stages from the operator side and feedback coordination to owner’s and consultants side.
• Proven ability in applying strategic expert technical and commercial knowledge on projects by understanding the implications of the design/scope decisions, whilst complying with the project brief and brand guidelines, to ensure that the project meets market demand, expected design and ultimately the project success.
• Substantial knowledge in the production of project matrix, areas schedules, area calculations and efficiency ratios, whilst reviewing and advise on preliminary plans, budget (based on preliminary estimates) and timelines for projects.
• Educational Qualifications allows assisting and commenting on the Contractor, Architects, Interior Designers, Engineering Consultants drawings, design details and specifications relevant to the project and the brand standards.
• Knowledge in liaising with professional Consultants from architectural, ID, F&B, Q.S., OS&E and FF&E and contractors.
• Experience in property assessment for acquisition and development, in conversion projects such as from office to Hotel, refurbishment and on new build, equity and operating Hotels (Hotel take-over or brand conversions).
• Additional capabilities to communicate in fluent English and Arabic.
• Open minded and design visionary capable to inspiring and guide consultants to achieve and develop the most iconic and successful hotel and resorts.
