Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer with strong experience in onshore and industrial structural engineering. This role supports the design, development, and delivery of civil and structural engineering packages across FEED, EPC, and EPIC stages. You will work on a range of infrastructure projects including process facilities, marine structures, and modular plant installations. Candidates with senior experience may take on additional technical leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and review civil and structural designs for onshore oil & gas, energy, and industrial projects
• Perform structural analysis and design of steel and concrete structures using tools such as Staad.Pro and foundation design suites
• Design and validate a variety of civil components, including:
• Pipe racks, equipment platforms, process structures
• Compressor and rotating equipment foundations (including dynamic analysis)
• Underground systems, pits, ponds, and piled foundations
• Blast and non-blast rated building structures
• Review and interpret geotechnical survey reports to inform foundation and structural design
• Contribute to the design of marine infrastructure, such as berths, jetties, dolphins, retaining walls, and wharf structures (preferred but not essential)
• Support modular design (e.g., PARs and PAUs), including weight control engineering and interface management
• Coordinate with project management teams, client representatives, subcontractors, and third-party certifiers
• Prepare and finalize Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and Material Take-Offs (MTOs)
• Ensure designs comply with international codes, local regulations, and client standards (TOTAL, ADNOC, etc.)
• Participate in all project phases: conceptual, basic, FEED, detailed design, and execution

Qualifications and Experience

• Education:
  • Minimum: BE/B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Preferred: ME/M.Tech in Structural Engineering

• Experience:
  • 5-15+ years of relevant experience in civil/structural engineering
  • Demonstrated experience in onshore infrastructure and/or brownfield works
  • Strong understanding of international design codes and standards (e.g., ACI, Eurocodes, BS, OPCO standards)
  • Experience working with EPC or EPCm project delivery models
  • Modular plant design, marine structures, and industrial site experience highly desirable
  • Able to manage technical packages independently and interface with multidisciplinary teams
