Candidates should have at least 8 years of experience in estimation or proposals within the oil and gas industry and a relevant engineering degree.
Our Oil & Gas EPC client isseeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Proposal/Estimation Engineer to support our business development and project bidding activities in the oil and gas sector. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, technical proposals, and tender documentation in line with client requirements and industry standards.
Analyze tender documents, technical specifications, and client requirements.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for EPC, construction, or maintenance projects.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to gather input for estimates.
Develop and submit competitive technical and commercial proposals.
Maintain an up-to-date database of costs, vendor quotes, and market rates.
Liaise with clients for clarifications and ensure proposal compliance.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and contract negotiations as required.
Support the transition of awarded projects to the execution team.
Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in estimation or proposals within the oil & gas industry.
Strong knowledge of cost estimation techniques and industry pricing.
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
