Job description
Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced and skilled Electrical Technicians to support our Electrical and Instrumentation operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance, along with a willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.

We are seeking experienced and skilled Electrical Technicians to support our Electrical and Instrumentation operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance, along with a willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, control systems, and related equipment
- Assist in Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) activities across facilities as needed
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and propose effective solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes
- Interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer manuals
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs
- Coordinate with other technicians and engineers to complete tasks efficiently
- Operate company vehicles as needed for site visits (valid UAE license required)
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department
Education & Experience:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience OR
- Vocational training in Electrical Engineering with at least 8 years of practical experience in the Electrical and Instrumentation field
- Good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to improve skills
- Sound knowledge of electrical systems and safety practices
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Good physical health and fitness to meet the demands of the role
- Valid UAE light-duty driving license
- Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as required
- Field and plant-based role, with exposure to varying weather conditions
- Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Physical tasks including climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces
- Experience in oil & gas, utilities, or industrial sectors
- Familiarity with instrumentation and control systems
- Certification in electrical safety standards is a plus
