A leading diversified company in the UAE is looking for a Laboratory Technician to support the QA Manager in delivering department objectives and supervising laboratory and materials testing. The ideal candidate will possess a BSc Diploma or equivalent and have experience in construction material testing. Responsibilities include implementing lab management procedures, preparing testing schedules, and ensuring compliance with standards. The role demands strong organizational skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Overview of the role:
To support the QA Manager in delivering the department objectives and supervise the Laboratory & materials testing.
What you will do:
Responsible for:
Implement procedure for Laboratory Management
Identify the project testing requirements
Prepare testing schedule as per the project specifications/contract requirements
Liaise with the operations team for project testing requirements and frequency of Testing
Prepare specimens & ensure its integrity for testing.
Select and liaise with external laboratories
Check the accuracy and integrity of internal and external laboratory results prior to submit to the client
Ensure the laboratory testing are carried out in accordance with relevant standards
Establish document and implement calibration programme
Selection and identification of laboratory instruments
Ensure procedures & forms are implemented and traceable for the project dossier.
